Privacy Policy
This policy describes what information My Money Atlas collects, how we use it, and what control you have over it. My Money Atlas is currently in a closed beta; this policy will be updated as new features are added.

1. Who we are

2. What information we collect
It depends on where you interact with us:
- On this site, while we are in closed beta: only your email, if you leave it on the waitlist.
- Inside the app, once you have an account: your email and your authentication data.
- Financial data you enter by hand: accounts, cards, transactions, budgets, and goals.
- Basic technical usage data, like app errors, so we can fix them.
3. How we use it
We use your waitlist email for one thing only: letting you know when a beta spot opens up. We do not add it to any marketing list and we will not write to you for any other reason. The financial data you enter in the app is used to calculate your balances, budgets, and projections, and for nothing else.
4. How we protect it
We use Supabase (Postgres) as our database provider, with row-level security that isolates each user’s and each shared space’s data, encrypted connections in transit, and optional Face ID lock on your device.
5. Who we share it with
Nobody, for advertising purposes. We use Supabase as our only infrastructure provider (database and authentication); we do not sell or hand over your information to third parties. If we add another provider in the future (for example, to send notifications), we will note it here before it starts processing your data.
6. How long we keep it
A waitlist email is kept until we contact you about the beta or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Once you have an account, its data is kept while the account is active and deleted if you close it.
7. Cookies and analytics
This site does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics tools. The only data we process here is the email you choose to leave us.
8. What we do not do yet
We do not store bank credentials, because direct bank connections are not available.
9. Offline features
If you record transactions without internet, they are stored locally on your device until they sync with your account.
10. Minors
My Money Atlas is not meant for anyone under [MINIMUM AGE] years old, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.
11. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and your data by writing to b.green@mymoneyatlas.com. If you left your email on the waitlist and would rather we delete it before we contact you, write to us and we will remove it.
12. If something goes wrong
If we detect an incident that exposes your data, we will tell you directly by email, without waiting for you to ask.
13. Changes to this policy
We will let you know inside the app if we make significant changes.
